Due to warm welcome, explanation to us what to visit in Bordeaux, advice of a good restaurant, and professional attitude for us a place to return. Don't expect a luxury hotel, but good quality for its price.

The location of the hotel was very good, it was close to all Bordeaux's attractions. The breakfast was excellent. The room was clean but the bathroom needs some updating. We were woken at 4.30 am by some very noisy guests, I realise this is not the fault of the hotel. The gentleman manager was very friendly, helpful and went out of his way to provide vegetarian options for our breakfast. He kindly loaned us an umbrella when it was raining and gave us directions to the places we wanted to see. Please pass on our thanks to him.

Was our first visit to Bordeaux, so wanted a hotel in the city centre, so we could easily walk around. The hotel is small and cosy and well located. Very lovely breakfast. It's got a home atmosphere and everyone is friendly.

The fact that there is no lift presents a problem to persons of a certain age even though very kindly the hotel director took up and brought down our luggage on arrival and departure.
